About Us
FlightShows was established in 2020 by George and Eoin who had collaborated for many years on large-scale global theatre tours and West End shows. We know that a show must tell a story – having a beginning, middle, and an end while being entertaining and engaging throughout. The magic of a show is extremely important to us, and while we could cut corners and create PowerPoint-style drone shows like some of our competitors, we take pride in the complexity, creativity, and theatricality of our performances.
The journey to the present hasn’t been easy, but years of experience delivering drone light shows have allowed us to grow and overcome challenges that the drone industry and other companies have yet to face. Our theatre background has instilled in us a “the show must go on” attitude. We believe that a show should never be let down by the technology and we do not accept that a drop of rain or a single failure should be cause for a cancelled show. We have invested heavily in drones, equipment and staff that reflect these important values and ensure that your show will go on!

Unlike many other providers' drones designed for fairer climates, we’ve invested heavily in drones suited to the UK’s unpredictable weather. We can safely fly in winds of up to 45 km/h and light rain, meaning the weather would need to be extreme before we’d consider cancelling a show.
While we do have strict safety limits, it’s rare for us to cancel a show due to weather. We always ensure a smooth experience with contingency plans in place. Your show is in good hands, no matter the weather!
